Home to Roo Elliott and her daughter Ellie, this tiny but cozy cottage is about ten minutes away from the centre of Penchurch village by bicycle, at the end of a pretty little lane bordered in summer by pink, red, orange, and blue poppies.
Roo has a spare room which she sometimes lets for extra income, but as she has a young child and is often on her own, she doesn't just let anybody stay who asks, and though she's fine with guests using the kitchen for themselves, she does not provide any sort of food service.

Hill Farm is a large and rambling old stone farmhouse kept in good order, where the Haverleigh family has lived for many generations.
Currently, spare rooms in the farmhouse are let to short and long-term guests as B&B accommodations. The rooms are reasonably-priced, tidy, comfortable, and rustic in style, though they of course have been fitted with all the usual modern conveniences. Besides an excellent range of breakfast options, Freddie Haverleigh also offers cream teas throughout the afternoon.
