As this is a present-day real-world setting, I don't think I need to stipulate any rules regarding conduct about god-moding or other pitfalls of supernatural games. Please just recall that your posts should end where another characters' interactions would begin--don't try to write in their responses, even if it's a short exclamation or a facial expression.
Basically, don't be a jerk. Your character can be a jerk, but please play it in keeping with their personality and situation, and be prepared to deal with the consequences. OOC, leave the drama at the door. Please message me or any of the other mods if you feel there is an issue you cannot address directly with another player.
With regards to descriptions of violent or sexual content, please keep things around the PG-13 level. This is not a password-protected forum, so anyone of any age could stumble across what's written here.
Posts should ideally be at least a paragraph in length, however as conversations pick up pace between characters it is understandable that replies might be shorter and more rapid. One-liners will be generally discouraged, however.
Please do not begin posting as your character, or put up plotting/request threads until your application has been approved and moved to the Character Profiles section.
Avatar pictures must be square (150x150 pixels is recommended) and not contain any material which could be considered offensive or otherwise not in keeping with the aforementioned rating level.
Thank you!
