Nothing too long, but give us a basic idea of your character's background and events that may have formed their personality. You may wish to include the particulars of their family or significant others, if they have any living with them or close by. Also PLEASE consider a rational reason for them to be living in Penchurch, and recall that if they have moved there from further away, they will need a reason to have done so, and even having settled in Penchurch, they may be thought to have odd ways or less understanding by some of the dyed-in-the-wool Penchurch residents. Any adult in Penchurch will likely need a means of supporting themselves and any dependants, and there aren't many job opportunities available--though Penchurch Abbey may have some openings for staff to attend the shop, cafe, and grounds. If your character has an unreasonable position for such a place, you may be asked to consider finding them a new job--or have them commute to the nearby town.
