Well hello there! I know several of us writers already know each other, which I know from experience can be intimidating. Hopefully we can use this as a sort of spot to say our hellos!
For example, I'm Micaela! I live in the US and work in museums, and love to write and read on the side. I found the board through our creator, Emily, with whom I've been writing for just about a decade, now. I play Bee, our delightful 1st AD, and will soon be submitting an application to play Jeannot d'Aubin, our charismatic and roguish leading man (he's a big loser puppy dog, honestly). I have an orange cat named Roonil Wazlib, and I am really excited to get to know you all as the community hopefully grows!

Hallo hallo!
I'm Emily, I live in Canada, I'm currently working part-time as well as studying a distance-education college course from a school a 10-hour drive plus a boat ride away from where I live.
As is usual for me I have a heap of characters already, which will surprise no-one who has ever RPed with me for five minutes. At present I've got Janet Weston, who is also the main admin account I used while creating the game, who functions as a bit of a maternal figure in the village, being the pub owner and landlady, so can be a point of contact and welcome for any newcomers, as well as being well-known to locals.
In addition I've got Teddy Meredith, the village GP; Roo Elliott, a single mother who works as a baker and part-time server for the little cafe; Ada Beckett, the young actress excited to have been cast as the duke's naive but passionate ward; Luke Walsh, local mechanic and handyman; Freddie Haverleigh, happy mother of five, runs a B&B out of the family home, Hill Top Farm; and Rosanna Roscoe, daughter of the owner of Penchurch Abbey and primary liaison during filming there.
Very happy to have gotten this game off the ground at last, endlessly thankful to Ellie who has worked miracles with the layout and design (my handiwork from 2014 when I set up this board was a travesty), excited to write with you all, and please don't hesitate to come to me if you have any questions, ideas, or concerns! I know a fair few of the core players right now are old friends of mine I've dragged in here, but we do not aim to be clique-ish in the slightest and hope to make fast friends of all new players.

Hi there! My name is Ellie, I live in England, I'm a student-in-flux somewhere in the University of London and I've been active in RP forums for just over a year now. At the moment I play Monty, an actor and member of the upper echelons of London society, and Jim, a salt of the earth fisherman. When I'm not poking at coding or spamming Emily and Micaela with videos of Jamie Parker singing or reciting Shakespeare, I'm a librarian, a Brownie leader, a Scout leader and an aspiring novelist. Hi! I'm Sarah. I'm studying in Minnesota currently but will probably go home to Ohio soon. This is my first RP forum and so far it's a good time. I have two characters at the minute but that probably won't last for long. My characters are Ali Ghazali, an ambitious actor, and Rose Chin, a grumpy horse-wrangler.
